A fortunate coincidence – unstaged reality of photography.



Migle Krizinauskaite-Bernotiene (born in 1987) is a photographer and audiovisual artist residing in Utena, Lithuania.


Many of her works involve analog photography which attracts not only by providing more forms of expression and opportunities for creativity, but, often, by giving unpredicted results to the author. On a scope of this project,

Migle shares her photographies, which have never seen a day light before: overexposed or unexpected, rejected as “failures”, nevertheless, they are still very important to the author.


Migle Krizinauskaite-Bernotiene studied applied photography, has had a few personal exhibitions and participated in one collective show. At the moment she is studying Master of Film Art and video directing in Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
